Sisters Expand Woman-Led Construction Firm to Northern California
Palo Alto, CA — Taryn Ashley Homes, a woman-led construction and design build firm, is proud to announce the official opening of its Northern California division. The company was founded in Los Angeles in 2018 by Taryn Zigterman, a licensed general contractor with a background in luxury home construction and interior design. Her sister Jessica Lawrence has now joined the business to run operations and lead the Northern California division.
“It’s been fun and rewarding networking with other professional women in construction to shake up this male-dominated industry,” said Taryn. “Homeowners and investors have been really drawn to my attention to detail and honest communication style.”
After growing the company in Southern California, Taryn built a reputation for combining technical expertise, effective project management, and a client first philosophy. The team utilizes a modern approach to home remodels with tech-forward backend systems including a client-facing project management portal and online billing.
With Jessica joining the team, Taryn Ashley Homes has now started to take on remodel clients in the SF Peninsula.
“We know how overwhelming and disappointing the construction process can be for homeowners,” said Jessica. “Our mission and reputation is to simplify the experience, communicate openly, and deliver high quality craftsmanship on budget and within the expected timeframe. Expanding to Northern California allows us to bring that ideal client experience to a new community where overpriced and vague contractor bids are unfortunately the norm.”
The Northern California division will serve clients throughout the SF Peninsula including Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Redwood City, and San Carlos. Services include remodeling and renovations, new home construction, permitting and inspections, and ongoing maintenance support.
